On January 22, 2016 at the Italian Association of the Foreign Press, our Director for Research and Cooperation, Prof Enzo Maria Le Fevre Cervini, participated, along with the Italian UnderSecretary of State for Civil Liberties and Migration, Judge Domenico Manzione, and Professor Antonio Golini, to the presentation of the English version of the “Report on the reception of migrants and refugees in Italy. Aspects, procedures, problems” compiled in 2015 by a group of experts for the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

On November 30th, Mariella Pagliuca and Thea Restovin, research assistants of the Budapest Centre, participated in the Fifth EASO Consultative Forum held in La Valletta, Malta.

On November 27th, the Budapest Centre met with key departments within SADC to discuss the Southern African chapters of the African Task Force on the Prevention of Mass Atrocities.

On November 16, the Budapest Centre convened in Washington DC the session “Ten Years of RtoP: The Way Ahead. Implementation of a normative principle” in the framework of the Law, Justice, and Development Week (LJD Week) hosted by the World Bank from the 16th to the 20th of November.

On 12-13 November, a delegation of the Budapest Centre participated in the VIII Budapest Human Rights Forum.
