Last 25-26 November, Budapest Centre Chair, Gyorgy Tatar, delivered a speech at the Seventh Session of the Forum of Minority Issues at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The session discussed about “Preventing and addressing violence and atrocity crimes targeted against minorities,” providing an opportunity to examine protection of minority rights as a crucial factor in preventing conflict and in promoting sustainable peace when conflict has occurred.
